| Ein absolutes Muss für jeden Marrakesch-Besuch. Leider kann die Moschee nicht von innen besichtigt werden. Das ist allgemein ein Problem in Marokko. Die einzige Moschee, die für "Nicht gläubige" zugelassen ist, ist die Hassan II Moschee in Casa.
Sehr sehenswert auch der dazugehörende Garten.

Dieses Gotteshaus wurde Mitte des 12. Jahrhunderts erbaut.
| Die Koutoubia Moschee lässt sich nur von aussen bewundern, ist aber sowohl am Tag als auch bei Nacht ein wunderschönes Fotomotiv und auf jeden Fall eine Pflichtstation bei einem Aufenthalt in Marrakech.
